PATUXAI
Patuxai is a massive war monument and triumphal arch in the center of Vientiane, Laos. It was completed in 1968, using funds donated by the United States – funds that were meant to be used for the construction of an airport. |
VANG SANG BUDDHA
Secluded within the woods is a group of Buddha sculptures carved into the rock. No one knows for sure when the sculptures were created. The biggest statues are about 10 feet high, some smaller statues can be found in the surrounding area. |
